More to know
This is the loaf the bakery was built around. The dough is mixed by hand with our eleven-year-old starter, folded through the afternoon and rested cold overnight, so the flavour has two full days to develop.
It is baked dark on a stone deck at 5 am. The crust should crackle when you press it and the crumb should be glossy and a little sour.
Delivered fresh within Bengaluru between 7 am and 11 am, the morning after you order, for orders placed by 6 pm. Delivery is free over ₹799, otherwise ₹60.
Food cannot be returned, but if a bake arrives damaged or not as it should be, write to us on the day with a photo and we will replace it or refund you in full.
From the guest book
The sourdough crackles when you cut it and is still good on day three. We have a standing order for two loaves every Saturday.
