A week of bento: how the weekday rotation is planned

Five lunches, five different mains, and a few rules we follow so the box never gets boring.

The weekday bento is the most ordered thing we make, and also the most planned. A box has four parts: a main, two sides, rice and something small and sweet.

The rules

No main repeats in a week. One day is always vegetarian. Fried things are balanced with something fresh or pickled, and nothing goes in the box that cannot sit for half an hour.

This season's rotation

Monday is chicken teriyaki don. Tuesday is negima chicken and leek from the grill. Wednesday is katsu curry rice, Thursday is miso aubergine, and Friday ends the week with karaage yakisoba.

Three days or five

You can take the bento five days a week or choose any three. You can change your days, skip the next delivery or pause the plan from your account.

Paying for it

We never auto-debit. The first delivery is paid at checkout; each later delivery shows as 'payment due' in your account and you pay it through the normal checkout (or our team marks it paid if you pay at the outlet).

Build your own

Prefer to choose? The bento builder on the menu lets you pick your own main, sides, rice and dessert for a one-off order.
