A simple way to decide between sharing a truck and booking one of your own.
The question is not just weight. It is weight, volume, urgency and how many stops the load can bear.
Choose part load when
Your load is under about 3 tonnes or under half a truck by volume, the consignee can accept an appointment and a day either way is fine.
Choose a full truck when
The load fills more than 60 percent of the truck, it is fragile or high value and should not be handled at a hub, or it must arrive on a fixed date.
