Après-Ski

Après-Ski

For the terrace at four o'clock and the cabin after dark. A half-zip or sherpa fleece that replaces your shell, a chunky knit, a puffer for the walk back, suede boots with a warm lining and a beanie that hides helmet hair.

Dress code: Soft, warm, easy to wear

The rules

  1. 01

Swap your shell for a fleece or knit as soon as you are off the hill; a damp shell chills quickly.

  2. 02

Pack dry socks in your jacket pocket. Your feet will thank you.

  3. 03

A beanie is the fastest fix for helmet hair.

  4. 04

Choose boots with a lugged sole; terraces and car parks are icier than the piste.
