Our farms
Short road, fresh food
A small team in Pune that buys direct from growers and delivers the next day.
Since 2022
It started with one tempo of tomatoes
Harvest Lane began in 2022, when a grower in Narayangaon told us how much of his crop was lost between the field and the market. We hired one tempo, took orders from forty neighbours and drove the tomatoes straight to their doors.
We still work the same way. Orders close at 8 pm, the harvest list goes to the farms, and crates reach our packhouse in Mundhwa before dawn. Nothing waits in a warehouse.
Today we buy from 38 farms and one bakery. Prices are agreed before planting, so growers know what they will earn and you know what you will pay.

House rules
How we work
- 01Buy direct
We deal with the grower, not a chain of agents, and agree the price before planting.
- 02Pick after you order
Harvest lists are made from the day's orders, which keeps produce fresh and waste low.
- 03Say what it is
Origin, storage, shelf life and allergens are on every product page. Out of season means cold-stored, and we say so.
- 04Put it right
If something arrives bruised or short, tell us within 24 hours and we refund or replace it.
How it reaches you
From farm to door
Four steps, about eighteen hours, no warehouse in between.
- All season
Grown nearby
We buy from 38 farms, most within 100 km of Pune, and agree prices before the crop is planted.
- From 4 pm
Picked to order
Orders close at 8 pm. Farmers pick against the day's list, so very little is harvested that has not been sold.
