Each layer does one job. Scroll to pull the system apart.
- LAYER 01
Base
Next to skin. Merino moves sweat away so you stay dry, and stays warm even when it is damp.
Merino 200 Mock Neck · ₹3,299 - LAYER 02
Mid
The warm layer. Fleece or down traps still air. Take it off on the climb, put it on at the stop.
Kedar High-Pile Fleece · ₹5,299 - LAYER 03
Shell
The outer wall. It keeps wind, rain and snow out and lets vapour from the layers below escape.

Tested where the wind lives
Every Northfell layer spends a season above the snow line before it reaches the shop. Our testers log temperature, wind and hours worn, and we change the pattern until the notes stop coming.

Logged at altitude
Wore the Kanchen parka through three nights at base camp. The thermometer on my pack read minus nineteen and I slept in it without shivering.

Ratings, sizing, delivery
What the numbers mean and how orders, returns and repairs work. Anything else, the workshop desk replies within a working day.
All questionsIt is the lowest temperature at which most people stay comfortable while standing still in that piece, worn as part of a sensible layering system. If you run cold, add five degrees. Moving generates heat, so the active range on each product page goes lower.
Shells and parkas are cut to fit over a midlayer, so order your usual size. Base layers fit close. If your chest measurement falls between two sizes, go up for parkas and down for base layers. The fit helper on each product page suggests a size from your chest and height.
It is the height of a column of water, in millimetres, the fabric holds back before it leaks. 10,000 mm handles steady rain. 20,000 mm handles hours of heavy rain and wet snow under pack straps. A DWR finish sheds light showers but is not waterproof.
Delivery is free on orders over ₹2,999 and ₹99 below that. We dispatch within 48 hours and most orders arrive in 3 to 7 working days. Remote pin codes in the hills can take a little longer.
Yes. Unworn pieces with tags can be returned or exchanged for another size within 30 days of delivery. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 2 working days of the return reaching us.
Everything carries a two-year warranty against defects. Beyond that, our Manali workshop mends seams, zips, baffles and buckles. Each product page says what is repaired free and for how long. Write to us with your order number and a photo, and we send posting instructions.
