The site-visit checklist we give our own families
Twenty minutes, a torch and a tape measure. What to check on a show flat and a building site.
A site visit is your best chance to see what you are actually buying.
Bring
A tape measure, the floor plan and your phone torch.
In the show flat
Check which finishes are standard and which are upgrades. Measure the bedrooms.
On the site
Ask to see the actual floor your home will be on. Look at the view from that height.
Ask
Who is the contractor? When was the last RERA update? Can I speak to an existing owner?
