The piece

Thrown in small batches, so no two are quite the same height and the glaze breaks differently over every rim. The clay body is a dark stoneware that shows through where the glaze runs thin.

The neck is narrow and the wall is thick at the foot, which is what lets it hold a handful of long branches without tipping.

Materials & care

Wheel-thrown dark stoneware, matte glaze, fired to 1260 C. Watertight; unglazed foot ring.

Hand wash only. The unglazed foot can mark a polished surface, so use a mat or a coaster.

Dimensions

H 32 cm / widest diameter 18 cm / neck opening 7 cm. Each piece varies by up to 1 cm.

Every piece leaves the atelier finished by hand.

In-stock pieces arrive in 5–10 business days; made-to-order pieces take four to six weeks, delivered by our own two-person team. In-stock pieces can be returned within 30 days, and every frame carries a ten-year guarantee.
