Wood: dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills straight away. Oil oak surfaces once or twice a year.
Upholstery: vacuum gently with a brush attachment and turn cushions regularly so they wear evenly.
Metal and lighting: wipe with a dry cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners.
