These terms apply to every order, reservation and tiffin plan placed with Chowk & Coal. By ordering you agree to them.
Who we are
Chowk & Coal is a North Indian grill and curry house with kitchens at Connaught Place, Hauz Khas and Rajouri Garden in Delhi and Sector 29 in Gurugram. We offer delivery, takeaway, dine-in and a daily tiffin subscription.
Orders and prices
All prices are in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes. An order is confirmed once payment succeeds and you receive an order number. Dishes are cooked fresh and can sell out; if an item is unavailable we refund it in full to your original payment method.
Food and allergens
Each dish page lists its ingredients and allergens. All our kitchens handle milk, nuts and gluten, so we cannot guarantee that any dish is free of traces. Photographs are a guide; plating can differ.
Delivery and takeaway
We deliver within about 6 km of an outlet (about 7 km in Gurugram). Delivery is Rs 49 and free on orders of Rs 599 or more after discounts. The usual estimate is 35 to 50 minutes and is not a guarantee. Takeaway is usually ready in 20 to 25 minutes with no fee. See the delivery policy.
Dine-in and reservations
Tables can be reserved online up to 14 days ahead and cancelled from your account. A seated guest can order to the table by scanning the table link. We may release a table if you are more than 15 minutes late.
Tiffin plans
Plans are priced per meal and paid a week at a time in advance. There is no auto-debit: each following week shows as "payment due" in your account until you pay it through checkout or the outlet marks it paid. You can pause, resume, skip the next meal, change days or slot, or cancel from your account. Changes made before 9 pm apply from the next day.
Cancellations and refunds
Orders can be cancelled free of charge until the kitchen starts cooking, usually 5 minutes after ordering. Wrong or missing items reported within 2 hours with a photo are remade or refunded. See the cancellation and refund policies.
Coupons
One coupon applies per order. Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash and may carry a minimum order value.
