Chowk & Coal collects only what it needs to cook, deliver and seat you.
What we collect
Your name, email address, phone number and delivery address when you order; your delivery location, so we can find the nearest kitchen; your booking details when you reserve a table; your plan, days and slot if you subscribe to a tiffin; your email address if you join the newsletter; and the messages you send us through the contact form.
How we use it
To prepare and deliver your order, hold your table, run your tiffin plan, send order emails and your invoice, and answer your questions. If you subscribed, we send occasional news from the kitchen. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay through UPI, cards or netbanking. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank password. We do not set up auto-debit for tiffin plans.
Sharing
We share your name, phone number and address with the rider delivering your order, and your booking name with the outlet you reserved. We do not sell your data to anyone.
Sign-in
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. We do not store a password for you.
Language
Your language choice (English, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Bengali or Marathi) is saved so the site opens in it next time.
Your choices
Write to hello@chowkandcoal.example to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. We keep order records for as long as tax law requires.
