Inseams are personal. Shipping everyone a 34 and wishing them luck never made sense to us.
Most jeans ship at a 32 or 34 inch inseam and leave the rest to you. That means a trip to a tailor, a hem that loses its roping, or a stack of fabric over your shoes.
One question at checkout
Tick Hem to my length on the product page and tell us your inseam. The bench cuts and chain-stitches the hem before it ships, usually within two days.
Why chain stitch matters
A chain stitch pulls the hem slightly as it is sewn. After a few washes that tension twists the fabric into the diagonal ripple denim people call roping. A flat lockstitch never does.
A good hem is the difference between jeans that fit and jeans that almost fit.
Not sure of your inseam?
Measure a pair you love from the crotch seam to the hem along the inside leg. Or use the Fit Finder, which suggests a length for the shoes you wear most.
