Shop the basics01What it is made of
We work with a short list of natural and recycled fibres and tell you which one is in every piece.
Grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, then combed for a smooth, strong yarn. It is what our tees, sweatshirts and underwear are made of.
Flax needs little water and almost no spraying. The fibre is cool, strong and softens for years. We use it for shirts and kitchen linens.
Hemp grows in about a hundred days and gives one of the strongest natural fibres. Blended with cotton it makes our overshirt twill.
Wool offcuts are sorted by colour, pulled apart and spun again. No new dye bath, far less water, and the same warmth.

Air a piece overnight before deciding it needs a wash. When it does, 30 degrees is enough and keeps the colour.

Shade and a breeze are kinder than a dryer. Fibres last longer and the piece keeps its size.

Hangers stretch shoulders. Fold knitwear flat and it will hold its shape for years.

A loose button or an open seam takes five minutes. Send it to us and we will fix it for free.

When you are done with it, someone else is not. Hand it down, swap it or send it back to be re-spun.
06In their words
I have washed the Everyday Tee about forty times and the neck still sits flat. I bought three more and stopped looking for tees.
The price breakdown is what made me order. The linen shirt is exactly as described and it gets softer every week.
A seam opened on my sweatshirt after a year. I posted it back, they fixed it and returned it within ten days, no charge.
Warm, not itchy, and it does not smell of anything chemical out of the bag. The fit is true to the size note.
Came in a paper mailer with no plastic at all. The tote has carried my weekly vegetables for six months.
