The island thatruns on the sun
Thirty-six villas on a coral island with no roads, no clocks in the rooms and one rule: the day decides. Drag the hour and see what it is doing now.
01The island
Small enough to walkround before breakfast
Maravi is eleven hectares of palms and white sand inside a lagoon the colour of a swimming pool. You arrive by boat, leave your shoes at the jetty and collect them when you go. Everything in between is ten minutes away on foot.

02Villas and suites
Seven ways to wake up
Over the lagoon, on the beach or deep in the garden. Every villa has its own outdoor space, an outdoor shower and a butler who knows how you take your coffee.

Six pavilions on stilts at the quiet end of the lagoon, with a glass panel in the floor so you can watch the fish from the table. Breathe with the circle. That is the only instruction.

“We took our watches off on the boat and did not put them back on for nine days. The butler simply appeared whenever we were hungry. I still do not know how.”
09Questions
Before you pack
Permits, transfers, children, weather. If it is not here, reservations answers within a day.
Fly to Agatti (AGX) from Kochi; the flight takes about ninety minutes. Our boat meets every arrival and the crossing to the island is 25 minutes across the lagoon. You can also swap the boat for a seaplane when you book.
Yes. Every visitor needs an entry permit, and we arrange it for you. Once you book, reservations will ask for a copy of your ID or passport; the permit takes about ten working days and is included in your rate.
October to May is dry, calm and clear. Mantas visit from November to April. June to September is monsoon: the island is green, the rates are lower and the sea is rougher, so some boat trips do not run.
Breakfast, the shared boat from Agatti and back, your entry permit, snorkelling gear, bicycles, sunrise yoga, drinking water and your butler. All taxes and service are included in the price you see.
Very. Children under six stay free in their parents' villa. The Beach Pool Villa and the Family Residence suit families best; overwater villas are for guests aged twelve and over.
Cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival for a full refund. Inside 14 days the first three nights are charged. Date changes are free whenever the new dates are available.
