Ocean Room
. A bright first-floor room above the east beach, with a balcony bathtub and the sunrise to yourself.
Eight rooms on the upper floor of the east wing, each with an arched balcony, a freestanding tub and nothing in front of it but sea.
The Ocean Rooms are the simplest way to stay on Maravi and, some regulars say, the best. They face due east, so the sun arrives in the room before you are awake, and the balcony tub is filled for you on request.
Inside there is a king bed, a writing desk and a walk-in rain shower. The beach is one flight of stairs away, and breakfast is closer than that.
