Monsoon Coffee

Monsoon roasts beans from four estates in the Western Ghats. They wanted a brand that felt warm and local without falling into the usual hand-drawn coffee clichés.

The identity is built on a single rain-drop glyph, a terracotta palette and a modular label system that changes with every harvest.

Every lot has a different story, origin and roast profile, and the labels had to be printed in-house on a desktop printer.

The online shop needed subscriptions without a heavy platform fee.

Subscriptions doubled within a season, and the label system now takes the founders ten minutes per new lot instead of a week with a printer.
