Lumen Pay

Lumen Pay came to me with a working ledger and a confusing app. Their users loved the idea of instant, shared wallets but abandoned the flow on the third screen.

I rebuilt the experience around a single conversational thread per group, where every request, payment and reminder lives in one place.

UPI rails have strict confirmation rules, and the existing design hid them behind modal after modal. We had to keep every regulatory step while making the path feel like one gesture.

The team also needed a design system they could ship with weekly, not a one-off redesign.

Completion of a shared payment went from 54% to 88% in the first eight weeks. The design system now powers three products and a partner SDK.
