Overview
Field Notes publishes hour-long audio documentaries. Their listeners were dropping off in generic podcast apps.
We designed a reader-like player with chapters, maps and photographs that follow the story.
Challenges
Syncing photos and maps to audio timestamps without asking producers to learn new tools.
Results
Average listening time per episode went from 19 to 47 minutes.
