Why we started
Hopline began with a missed bus. Our founders stood at a boarding point in Madiwala with a paper ticket, no phone number that worked and no idea where the coach was. They built the thing they wanted that night: one honest list of buses, a seat map that matches the bus, and a dot on a map that tells you where it is.
Before a bus appears on Hopline we ride it. We check the seats against the layout, the charging points, the driver rest schedule and the boarding points. Operators who slip below a 3.8 rating are paused until they fix what travellers flagged.

One route, three buses
Hopline starts on Residency Road, Bengaluru, selling seats on the overnight run to Chennai.
- 2019
Operator checks begin
Every operator is audited before listing, and the seat map starts marking seats booked by women.
- 2022
Live tracking on every bus
GPS tracking becomes a listing requirement, and we cross 1,000 routes from Delhi to Coimbatore.
- 2026
2,400 routes, 180 operators
Free cancellation up to 6 hours before departure becomes standard on every ticket we sell.
