An 8 kW TOPCon rooftop on a clay-tile villa that now runs two ACs, an EV charger and a pool pump on sunlight.
The family wanted to cut a summer bill that touched ₹16,000 without drilling into their heritage clay tiles. We designed a rail-clamp structure that hooks under the tiles, routed DC cabling through the existing service shaft and commissioned the system in six working days.
The challenge
Fragile Mangalore tiles, a west-facing slope and a mango tree that shades one corner after 3 pm.
Our solution
Tile hooks instead of penetrations, optimisers on the four shaded modules and a 30° tilt matched to the roof pitch.
