Under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, homes get ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW and ₹18,000 for the third kW, so up to ₹78,000 for a system of 3 kW or more. We file the application and the DISCOM inspection for you, and the subsidy is paid directly into your bank account, usually within 30–60 days of commissioning.

A rough rule: every 1 kW produces about 120–130 units a month in most of India and needs about 100 sq ft of shade-free roof. Divide your average monthly units by 120 for a starting point, or use our savings calculator. A free site survey gives you the exact figure.

A bi-directional meter records the power you import from and export to the grid. Surplus daytime solar is exported and credited against what you draw at night, so you pay only for the net units. We apply for the net meter with your DISCOM as part of every installation.

Most homes are installed in 2–5 days once the material is on site. End to end, from survey to switch-on including DISCOM approvals, a typical residential project takes 3–5 weeks. Commercial plants take 3–10 weeks depending on size.

The token amount reserves your package price and installation slot and starts the subsidy and net-meter paperwork. It is adjusted against your final invoice. If the site survey shows your roof is unsuitable, the full token is refunded within 7 working days.

Yes. Homes can choose 0% EMI for up to 12 months, or 7.5–9.5% solar loans for up to 7 years through our partner banks. Businesses can choose CAPEX, lease or RESCO (no upfront cost, pay per unit).

A standard on-grid system shuts down during a grid outage for the safety of line workers. If you want backup, choose a hybrid system with a battery, which keeps critical loads running through outages.

Very little. Clean the panels with plain water every 2–4 weeks (more often in dusty areas) and have an annual electrical check. Our O&M plans cover both, along with remote monitoring alerts.

Modules carry a 25–30 year linear performance warranty, inverters 10–12 years and our workmanship 5–10 years depending on the package. All warranties are registered in your name at handover.

No. On RCC roofs we use chemical anchors with waterproof sealing, or ballasted structures with no drilling at all. On tiled and metal roofs we use hooks and clamps designed for that roof type. Our workmanship warranty covers leaks.

Yes. Societies can install solar for common loads such as lifts, pumps and lighting, and RWAs get ₹18,000 per kW in central financial assistance (up to 500 kW) under PM Surya Ghar. We present to your managing committee and handle the AGM paperwork.

For homes in states with tariffs above ₹7 per unit, payback after subsidy is typically 3–5 years. Panels then produce almost free power for another 20+ years. Commercial plants typically pay back in 3–4 years with accelerated depreciation.

Your roof could be paying your bills by next month

Book a free site survey. An engineer measures your roof, checks shade and sends you a written proposal with the subsidy already worked in, usually within 48 hours.
