You do not need twenty matching boxes. You need two proteins, one grain and a tray of vegetables.
Most meal prep advice fails because it asks for a whole Sunday. Ours asks for forty minutes and a single oven tray.
Cook components, not meals
Roast a tray of vegetables, cook one grain and prepare two proteins. Through the week you combine them in different ways: a bowl on Monday, a wrap on Tuesday, a salad on Wednesday. Nothing tastes like leftovers because nothing was a finished dish.
Aim for a palm of protein
A portion the size of your palm at every meal gets most people close to what they need for recovery. Add a second palm after a heavy lifting day.
Keep one emergency meal
Frozen rice, tinned fish and a bag of spinach take four minutes. Having that fallback is what stops the takeaway order at nine in the evening.
