Maison Velour began in 2016 at a single bench in Bandra, repairing other people's bags. Taking them apart taught us where bags fail: handles, strap tabs and cheap plated hardware.
So we build ours the other way round. Anything that carries weight is stitched by hand with two needles. Hardware is solid brass. Edges are painted in four coats and sanded between each.
We keep the range short on purpose: a few totes, a few crossbody bags, evening pieces, and the small goods that go inside them. Every piece can be monogrammed, and every piece can come back to us for repair.
