World of Jalora

Why we started
Jalora began in 2009 in a small tool room in Bengaluru, with a simple frustration: bathrooms were being assembled from parts that were never designed to meet. We set out to make the faucet, the shower, the ceramic and the light as one system, in finishes that match and with service that turns up. Today the range covers the complete bathroom and the lighting around it, and every product is still tested in our own laboratory before it ships.

A faucet body is cast in low-lead brass, machined to a hundredth of a millimetre and plated in seven layers before its PVD finish is applied. The ceramic cartridge is cycled 500,000 times, every unit is pressure-tested with water and air, and each finish spends 300 hours in salt spray before we sign it off.
