Shipping
Pieces in stock leave the studio within 2 working days and reach most Indian cities in 3 to 6 days. Made-to-order pieces take 10 to 14 days to make before they ship. Shipping is free on orders over ₹5,000.
We ship to most countries by tracked courier. Delivery takes 7 to 12 working days. Shipping is charged at checkout and local duties or taxes are paid by the recipient.
Craft
Yes. Each bag is cut, stitched and finished by one maker at our studio in Jaipur. We use a sewing machine for some linings and long straight seams, and everything structural is saddle stitched by hand. An average bag takes 14 hours.
Returns
You can return or exchange any unused piece within 14 days of delivery. Write to hello@karvelle.example and we will arrange a pickup. Monogrammed and custom pieces cannot be returned unless they arrive faulty.
Repairs
If stitching, hardware or a strap fails through normal use, we will repair it at no charge for as long as you own the bag. You cover postage to the studio and we cover the return. Damage from accidents or water can usually be repaired for a small fee.
Care
Wipe with a dry, soft cloth after use. Condition with a neutral leather balm twice a year. Keep the bag in its dust bag, away from direct sun and damp. If it gets wet, let it dry at room temperature and never near a heater.
Customisation
We can blind stamp up to three initials on most pieces at no extra cost. Leave a note at checkout. For changes to strap length or colour, write to us before ordering. Custom work adds about 7 days.
Gifting
Yes, and it is complimentary. Every order leaves in a cotton dust bag and a recycled card box. Ask for gift wrap in the order notes and we will add tissue, ribbon and a handwritten card.
Payment
We accept UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and popular wallets. All prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. Payments are processed through a secure gateway and we never store card details.
Materials
Close, but not identical. Leather is a natural material, so grain, tone and small marks vary from hide to hide. Vegetable-tanned colours such as Tan also darken with light and wear. We see this as part of the piece and not a fault.
