Saffron Air
A regional airline app that gets out of the way.
Saffron Air flies short regional routes across South India. Most passengers book on their phones within a day of flying. We redesigned the booking and day-of-travel app around that reality.

(Challenge)
Booking took fourteen taps, boarding passes hid behind a login, and the app treated a forty-minute hop like an international journey. Ratings sat at 2.9 stars.

(Solutions)
We cut booking to five taps with smart defaults from past trips, put the boarding pass on the lock screen, and built a live journey view that answers the only questions people have on the day: is it on time, which gate, how long until boarding.
(Results)
App rating climbed from 2.9 to 4.6 in two months, mobile bookings rose by 34 percent, and call-centre volume on travel days fell by 40 percent.
