Ledgerline
An investing app that finally feels calm.
Ledgerline Wealth helps first-time investors in India build a portfolio without drowning in tickers. We rebuilt the product from the ground up: a calmer information architecture, a design system the team can grow, and an onboarding flow that respects people's time.

(Challenge)
The existing app had grown by accretion. Seven years of features sat on top of an outdated navigation model, dashboards were dense with numbers nobody had asked for, and every screen used a slightly different pattern.
New users dropped off during onboarding: KYC took eleven screens, the first investment another six. The brief was to make the product approachable without stripping out the depth experienced investors relied on.

(Solutions)
We started with two weeks of stakeholder workshops and forty user interviews across Bengaluru, Pune and Jaipur, mapping where confidence broke down.
From there we redesigned the information architecture around three verbs (save, invest, track), cut onboarding to four screens with progressive KYC, and built a token-based design system in Figma and React Native. Every number on the dashboard now earns its place, and micro-interactions explain movement instead of decorating it.
(Results)
The new Ledgerline shipped in March. Activation rose by 41 percent in the first month, time to first investment fell from nine days to under four, and support tickets about 'where is my money' dropped by half.
The design system now powers the web dashboard as well, and the in-house team ships new features in roughly a third of the time.
