Kōji Coffee
A roastery identity built from steam, grain and patience.
Kōji roasts single-estate coffee from the hills of Chikmagalur and Coorg. We named the subscription, built the identity and designed a site that sells coffee the way a good barista does: slowly, with a story.

(Challenge)
Speciality coffee in India is crowded with brands that look alike. Kōji had excellent coffee and no voice, and their subscription was buried at the bottom of the shop page.

(Solutions)
We built a quiet identity around grain textures and a steam-inspired motion language, wrote tasting notes that read like letters from the estate, and made the subscription the front door of the site with a three-question taste quiz.
(Results)
Subscriptions grew from 300 to 2,100 in six months, repeat purchase rate reached 58 percent, and two cafés now stock Kōji on the strength of the packaging alone.
