Our way
We design every light on one bench, blow the glass and spin the brass with makers we know by name, and build only what we know will be switched on for years. Some lights we make before you order. The rest we make because you did.

From sketch to switch
Four stages in the making

Sketch
Each light starts as a drawing at our bench, tested in card and wire before a single piece of metal is cut.
02
Glass
Shades are blown and spun in small glassworks we visit every year. Each one comes out a little different.
03
Brass
Frames are cast, turned and hand-finished in solid brass that ages with the room, never flakes.
04
Pack
Wired, tested and lit before it leaves. Packed in recycled card and sent with everything you need to hang it.
