On any light marked Made to order, choose the made-to-order option before adding it to your bag. We build it to your finish and drop length in our workshop. The lead time shown on the product travels with your order, and you get a ready-by date at checkout.
Every product page lists the bulb type and maximum wattage. We recommend warm white LED, 2700K for living spaces and 3000K for desks and kitchens. Dimmable LEDs work with all our fittings.
Use the sizing guide on each product page. As a rule, a pendant should be about half the width of the table beneath it, and a floor lamp's shade should sit near eye level when you are seated.
In-stock lights leave the workshop within two working days and arrive in three to five. Made-to-order lights ship on their ready-by date.
In-stock lights can be returned unused within 30 days. Made-to-order lights are final sale, but we will always repair or re-wire them for free in the first year.
Every Lumora light has a five-year warranty on the fitting and wiring. Send it back and we will repair it for the cost of postage, for as long as you own it.
Recycled card and paper wrap, with a moulded pulp insert. No plastic foam, ever.
Each badge compares the light with an equivalent incandescent or halogen fitting, using the bulb wattage and an average of 3 hours of use a day. They are estimates and we update them when a bulb changes.
Plug-in table lamps, floor lamps and plug-in wall lights need no installation. Pendants and hardwired wall lights should be fitted by a qualified electrician. Every box includes a fitting guide, and we are happy to share it with your installer before you order.
Yes. Every Lumora fitting is dimmer-ready when used with a dimmable LED bulb and a trailing-edge dimmer. Our lights take standard E27 and E14 bulbs, so smart bulbs from any brand fit and work as normal.
Yes. Each light ships with a warm white 2700K dimmable LED bulb, rated for 25,000 hours, so it is ready to switch on the day it arrives. Statement and filament bulbs are listed on the product page when they are part of the design.
Only lights marked with an IP rating on their product page are suitable for damp or outdoor spaces. Our lanterns and selected wall lights are rated IP44 for bathroom zones 2 and 3 and covered outdoor areas. Please ask us if you are unsure.
On any light marked Made to order you can choose the finish, and for pendants the drop length, in the order notes at checkout. For something truly bespoke, such as a stairwell cluster or a custom colour, write to the studio and we will quote within two working days.
We accept cards, UPI and net banking through our secure Razorpay checkout. You are charged only once your order is confirmed, and an invoice is emailed to you as soon as payment clears.
Sign in to your account to see every order, its status and your invoice. To change an address or a made-to-order finish, write to us within 24 hours of ordering and we will update it before the build starts.
Switch the light off and let it cool. Wipe brass with a soft dry cloth; it is lacquered, so avoid polish. Wash glass shades in warm soapy water and dry them before refitting. Never use abrasive cleaners on a finish.
