Room nine
Twelve people on the ninth floor of an old print works in Bengaluru, making one collection a year.

One room, one block, one collection a year
Atelier Nine began in 2017 in a single room on the ninth floor of a disused print works. The room gave the label its name.
We set ourselves two rules. Every piece is cut on one unisex block, graded in six sizes from 0 to 5. And every collection is small enough to be numbered in the order it was finished.
Cloth comes from mills we have visited. Cutting and sewing happen in our own room; knitwear and leather are made by three workshops we have worked with since the first collection.
Open the indexWe make nine things well and then we stop. One block for every body, sizes zero to five. Cloth chosen by hand, cut in our own room, numbered in the order it was finished. No logos, no seasons to chase, nothing you will tire of. Wear it until it is yours.
