Quiet Rooms

Most exhibitions crowd the wall. Quiet Rooms did the opposite. Fourteen prints, none bigger than A3, hung with metres of nothing between them so you had to walk, and slow down, to get from one to the next.

The photographs themselves are of empty interiors: stairwells, corridors, a window at four in the afternoon. The show was about the room you were standing in as much as the rooms in the frames.
