Work you can only learn by watching
Portraits of potters, weavers and printers, photographed only by their hands.
A documentary commission on hand-craft that I insisted on photographing without faces. The hands carry the biography: the burns, the calluses, the rings that never come off.
The project pairs every photograph with a short interview. It is still in progress, with a book planned for 2027.
