Chapter II · The craft
Five hands, one watch
From a solid bar of steel to a signed caseback, each watch passes through five workshops in London.
Our storyScroll · the bench, left to right

The case
Each case is cut from a solid bar of 316L steel, then brushed and polished by hand in 14 separate steps.

The dial
Sunburst, lacquer and guilloché dials are finished in-house; applied indices are set one by one under a loupe.

The movement
Our watchmakers assemble, decorate and regulate every movement in six positions before it is cased.

The strap
Italian calf and alligator, cut and hand-stitched with waxed linen thread in our East London workshop.

The test
Fifteen days on a timing machine, a night in the pressure tank, and a final signature from the watchmaker.
Make it yours
Your strap. Your case. Your words.
Every watch can be configured: choose a strap from alligator to Milanese mesh, a case finish from black DLC to 18k gold, and engrave up to 24 characters on the caseback.

Worn every day
“I opened the box and simply sat with it for ten minutes. The moon disc is painted like a miniature, and the caseback is better than most dials.”
“Two seasons of open-water swimming and it still looks new. The bezel clicks like a bank vault. I have stopped taking it off.”
“It disappears under a shirt cuff and then catches the light at exactly the right moment. The engraving my husband added made me cry.”
“Flew nine time zones last month. Jumping the local hour without stopping the watch never gets old.”
“The boutique appointment was a joy: no pressure, a proper loupe and a watchmaker who explained every bridge. I left with the Serein.”
“The pushers have that perfect column-wheel feel. I time everything now, including my coffee.”

Turning a guilloché dial by handOur rose engine is older than the company. Here is how a silver blank becomes a Serein dial in three patient days.
Why a moonphase drifts, and why ours barely doesA standard moonphase is out by a day every two and a half years. Ours needs correcting once every 122.
