The brief
A tight urban plot on a 9 m road with a school next door, so every crane lift and concrete pour had to be scheduled around school hours.
How we built it
We used aluminium formwork for a 7-day floor cycle, a single tower crane on a central core and night-time concrete deliveries with a traffic marshal plan agreed with the school.
The result
312 homes handed over with zero lost-time injuries across 1.4 million man-hours and an IGBC Gold pre-certification.
