Petal Theory
An independent perfumer needed a launch that felt as layered as the scents. We art-directed a floating, petal-soft world and a site that smells, almost, like the bottle.

01Overview
Petal Theory blends small-batch attars with modern French structure. Their first collection of five scents was ready; the brand around it was not.
We led creative direction for the launch shoot, the campaign film and a scroll-driven website built around the notes of each fragrance.

02Challenge
Fragrance is the hardest thing to sell online: nobody can smell a screen. The founders also wanted to avoid the cliché of gold, black and smoke that dominates the category in India.

03Approach
We translated each scent into a colour, a texture and a motion. Rose became a slow pink bloom, vetiver a dense green rain. Those cues drove the set design, the film edit and the site, where each product page opens with the scent's own motion study.
A sampling kit with a QR code linked each vial straight to its page, closing the loop between skin and screen.

What changed
A launch that gave the category a new palette and gave customers a way to understand a scent before they ever smelled it.
