Terms of service

These terms apply when you use this website or buy a monthly retainer from Olven Studio LLP. Larger projects are covered by their own signed statement of work.

Retainers

A retainer gives you a set number of studio hours each month, as described on the plans page. The first month is paid online when you sign up; later months are invoiced on the renewal date shown in your client room.

Hours and requests

Requests are worked through in the order and priority you set. Up to 20% of a month’s unused hours roll into the next month; beyond that they reset. Turnaround times are targets for typical requests and are agreed in advance for larger pieces.

Changing, pausing or cancelling

You can move between plans from the next renewal, or pause or cancel with 30 days’ notice by writing to hello@olven.studio. Payments already made for a month that has started are not refunded.

Ownership

On payment, all rights to the work we deliver to you transfer to you, including source files. We may show finished, public work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Third-party material

Fonts, stock imagery and music licensed for your work are licensed in your name where possible; any extra licence fees are agreed with you first.

Liability

Our total liability for any claim relating to a retainer is limited to the fees you paid for the month in which the claim arose.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Mumbai having jurisdiction.
