Good questions
Everything people ask before their first day at the wheel. Still curious? Write to us.
Do I need any experience?
None at all. The Beginner Wheel Day and Hand-building Morning are designed for people who have never touched clay. With eight seats and two teachers, someone is always beside you.
What should I wear?
Clothes you don't mind getting muddy and short nails if you can. We lend aprons. Clay washes out of cotton easily.
When can I collect my pieces?
Pieces need to dry, be bisque-fired, glazed and fired again — about three weeks. We email you the day they come out of the kiln, and you can collect from the studio Tuesday to Sunday.
Can I pay a deposit?
Yes. Pay 30% to hold your seats and the balance on the day, or pay in full online. Gift vouchers can cover any part of a booking.
What if I need to cancel?
Move your date for free up to 72 hours before. Inside 72 hours deposits are non-refundable but can move to another date once. If a date is full, join the waitlist and we'll email you the moment a seat opens.
Is there a minimum age?
Wheel days are for ages 14 and up. Hand-building Mornings welcome children from 8 with an adult.
Is lunch included?
Yes — a vegetarian thali, chai and filter coffee on full-day workshops. Tell us about allergies when you book.
Where do I park?
Street parking on 12th Main fills up after 11:00. The Indiranagar metro station is a ten-minute walk.
