Lens width, bridge, temple: the three numbers that decide whether a frame fits.
Look inside the left temple of any pair of glasses and you will find three numbers, such as 50–19–145.
The first is the lens width in millimetres. The second is the bridge, the distance between the lenses. The third is the temple length.
If a frame you love fits well, those three numbers are the best guide you will ever have to your next pair.
