Four rules wedress by
Rule 01Fit first, always
A jacket should close without pulling and show a quarter inch of shirt cuff. Everything else is detail.
Rule 02Three colours, no more
Navy, grey and one earth tone carry almost any week. Let texture do the talking.
Rule 03Match weight to weight
Silk ties with worsted, wool ties with tweed. Suede shoes with flannel, polished leather with a suit.
Rule 04Alter, don't replace
A hem, a taper or a nip at the waist turns nearly right into exactly right. That's what the Tailoring Room is for.

I bought the whole suit through the builder, got the set saving, and the tailoring room shortened the sleeves free in four days. It fits like it was made for me, which I suppose it partly was.
Tomas ReyesWore the Charcoal Windowpane Suit“The field jacket is the most complimented thing I own. I saved my measurements in the fit profile once and every product page now tells me my size. No more guessing.”
“Proper heavy tweed, the kind my grandfather wore. The Donegal coat weighs what a coat should and the staff talked me out of the size I was about to order. They were right.”
