About Saltline

Made near the sea

A small studio in Panaji making swim and resort wear in recycled fabrics, in sizes that fit real people.

Our story

It began with abikini that did not fit

Saltline started in 2021, after our founder spent a week in Palolem in a set that was right on top and wrong below. The shop would not split it.

So the first thing we made was a two-piece sold in two sizes. The second was a one-piece you could actually swim lengths in. Everything since has followed the same idea: start with the fabric, test it in chlorine and salt, then cut for bodies as they are.

Today we make swimwear in recycled nylon, trunks in recycled polyester and resort clothes in washed linen. We still pack every parcel in Panaji.

How we work

How we work

Fabric first

We choose the fabric, test it in chlorine and salt for 200 hours, and only then draw the suit.

Sizes that fit real people

Tops and bottoms are sold in separate sizes, and every style runs XS to XL or beyond.

Made close to the coast

Cut and sewn in Tiruppur and Kochi by workshops we visit, and paid on time.

Honest sun advice

UPF covers what the fabric covers. We say so on every product page.
