A K–12 campus where corridors become courtyards and a spiral stair is the school's meeting point.
Riverbend's classrooms open onto shaded courtyards rather than corridors, so every room has light from both sides and cross-ventilation without air conditioning for eight months of the year.
A sculptural spiral stair in the central court has become the school's informal stage, used for assemblies, debates and end-of-term photographs.
