Kalyan Community Hall

A white, louvred civic hall that opens fully to the street for markets, weddings and public meetings.

Folding louvred doors on three sides let the hall become part of the street. On a weekday it is a reading room and clinic. At the weekend it holds markets and weddings. The deep roof keeps the floor shaded, and the louvres can be tuned for each season.
