Terms of Use

These terms apply to bookings made on this website with Orvalho Retreats Private Limited.

Rates and taxes

Rates are quoted per room per night in Indian Rupees before GST. Fridays and Saturdays carry a weekend rate. GST is added at the rate in force on the date of your stay and is shown before payment.

Deposits and payment

A booking is confirmed when the deposit (30% of the total) or the full amount has been paid online. The balance is due at check-in.

Cancellation and changes

Cancellations made 14 days or more before arrival are refunded in full. Within 14 days the deposit is retained. Date changes are free, subject to availability, up to 7 days before arrival.

Table, spa and experience reservations

Reservations are held for 15 minutes past the booked time. Experiences that depend on the weather or the sea may be moved or cancelled by our hosts for safety, in which case nothing is charged.

Conduct

Orvalho is a quiet house in a village. We ask guests to keep music indoors after 10pm and to respect the privacy of other guests and our neighbours.

Liability

We take every care of our guests and their belongings, but we are not liable for loss of valuables not left in the in-room safe.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India and the courts of Goa have jurisdiction.
