Paper Weight
What a fold remembers
Small sculptures in paper and clay, made to be photographed once and then dismantled.
Paper Weight is the closest I get to sculpture. Each object was folded, cut or thrown, lit for one exposure and then taken apart, so the photograph is the only version that exists.
I like that the print outlives the thing. It reverses the usual order of importance.
