The greenest piece of clothing is the one that gets worn again. So we built a way for our clothes to keep going.
Child one
A pair of sage cord dungarees is bought at 2-3y. Thanks to the growth buttons, they are worn for eighteen months of climbing, crawling and puddles.
Back to the studio
Filled in on our hand-me-down form, posted back in a free bag. We check every seam, mend what needs mending and press them.
Child two, and three
The family takes store credit towards the baby's first coat. The dungarees go to a new family at a resale price, and later to a local baby bank.
One pair of dungarees, three children, zero landfill.
