Short runs mean less waste, no end-of-season sale and, sometimes, a piece that sells out. Here is the reasoning.

We cut around forty of each piece. When they are gone, the run is over.

What it avoids

Large runs are planned around a markdown. Short runs are planned around being worn. We would rather sell out than discount, and we would rather remake a piece on request than store it for a year.

What it costs

Short runs are more expensive to cut and sew, and they mean some sizes go quickly. If your size has gone, write to us. Pieces such as Vesper and Marguerite are remade several times a year.

What stays

We keep every pattern. A gown bought this year can be altered, repaired or remade in the same cut later.
