Grown, not made
Linen, hemp, ramie, wool and alpaca: fibres that grow back, need little water and return to the soil.

Our fibres
Linnea began in 2016 with one shirt, one mill and a farmer who let us walk her fields in June. We still work that way: few fibres, close partners, small runs.

Linen, hemp, ramie, wool and alpaca: fibres that grow back, need little water and return to the soil.
We weave within 600 km of where the fibre grows, so it travels less and stays traceable.
Every piece is cut with seam allowance to spare. We repair Linnea for life, for the cost of postage.
Natural fibres, nothing else

From field to fold
Flax is sown in March along the northern coast. It needs no irrigation and blooms blue for a single morning in June.

Pulled, never cut, the stems lie in the field for weeks while dew and sun loosen the fibre. No tanks, no chemicals.

Long fibres are spun into yarn and woven in small mills we visit every year, a few hours from the field.

Cut in our studio in small runs, or made to order. Folded in paper, tied with an offcut, sent to you.

What it saves
Every product carries an impact badge: the water and CO2 it saves against a conventional garment of the same weight. Here is the season so far.

The studio
Six of us cut, sew and pack everything in a former sail loft by the harbour. Made-to-order pieces are finished by one maker from start to end, and you will find their initials inside.
