How many pizzas for ten people? How much veg, how much non-veg? The simple arithmetic of feeding a crowd.

Pizza is the easiest party food there is. Nobody needs a plate, nobody needs to cook and almost everybody likes it. The only way to get it wrong is to order too little, or to order ten of the same thing. Here is how we plan it when customers call us for birthdays, office lunches and match nights.

The three-slice rule

Plan on three slices per adult and two per child. A Large Slice Mode pizza has eight slices, so one Large feeds two to three adults. For ten adults you need thirty slices, which is four Large pizzas. If pizza is the only food, round up by one. If there are plenty of sides, four is enough.

Split veg and non-veg honestly

Ask your guests, or assume more vegetarians than you think. A safe split for a mixed group is half veg, half non-veg, and remember that non-vegetarians happily eat veg pizza while the reverse is not true. If in doubt, tilt towards veg. We box and label veg and non-veg separately, with green and red stickers, so there is no confusion at the table.

Order a range of heat

Always include one plain, mild pizza. Margherita Mode or Corn and Cheese Crush will be eaten by children, by older relatives and by anyone who does not like chilli. Then add one crowd-pleaser such as Farmhouse Riot or Smoky BBQ Chicken, and one hot pizza such as Tandoori Paneer Blaze or Chicken Tikka Tornado for the people who want it.

Sides are cheaper than pizza

Garlic bread, wedges and Mozzarella Melt Sticks stretch a party order a long way. One side for every three guests is about right. Dips disappear quickly, so order more than seems sensible.

The Party Pack

Our Party Pack covers six to eight people: three Large pizzas of your choice, two Classic Garlic Breads, Mozzarella Melt Sticks and two large colas, for less than the items cost separately. For bigger groups, order two, or add a Family Feast.

Timing

Order so the food arrives fifteen minutes after your guests do, not before. Pizza is best in its first twenty minutes. If your order includes deep dish, add fifteen minutes to the usual delivery time.

Bulk orders and discounts

For ten pizzas or more, call us a day ahead so the outlet can prepare extra dough. Use code PARTY15 for 15 percent off orders over 1,499 rupees. And keep the boxes slightly open on the table: trapped steam is what makes a crust go soft.
