The jacket
Waxed cotton that marks where you use it, a corduroy collar that softens, four bellows pockets and a brass two-way zip under a storm flap that lies flat.
Four things
The zip. Brass, two-way, so it opens from the bottom when you sit down.
The yoke. One seam across the shoulders, cut on the bias, so the back gives when you lift your arms.
The pockets. Bellows pockets with a flap, sewn through, so they hold their shape full.
The label. Inside the neck, the number of the jacket and nothing else.
